2024 CPI Achievement
The Cultural Partnership Initiative (CPI), launched in 2005, aims to promote international cultural exchange and foster mutual understanding through collaboration and capacity-building in the cultural and arts sectors. In 2024, CPI continued to build on its legacy by achieving significant outcomes in enhancing global cultural cooperation.
The 2024 Cultural Experts Training Program was successfully organized, bringing together 47 participants from 18 countries. The program featured a combination of online and offline components designed to provide comprehensive training in the field of international cultural exchange.
The online segment of the program was conducted from July 22nd to August 2nd, spanning two weeks. This was followed by an offline program in Korea, consisting of two parts: an intensive course held from August 19th to September 13th, lasting four weeks, and a general course from August 19th to September 6th, lasting three weeks. The program aimed to foster the next generation of cultural exchange professionals by equipping them with practical skills and in-depth knowledge across these critical domains.
Participants engaged in a well-rounded curriculum that encompassed three key areas of expertise, with a total of four specialized modules:

The 2024 Cultural Administrators Training Program successfully brought together 20 cultural administrators from 9 countries, offering them an invaluable opportunity to enhance their professional capacities through a dynamic and engaging curriculum.
The program was structured into two components: a five-day online program held from August 19 to August 23, and a five-day offline program in Korea from September 2 to September 6, 2024. Participants engaged in a variety of activities, including hands-on workshops and project presentations, designed to equip them with practical knowledge and skills in cultural administration.
The program emphasized international collaboration, innovative cultural planning, and strategic thinking, creating a platform for participants to exchange ideas and develop actionable strategies to address cultural challenges in their respective regions.
Through this immersive experience, the 2024 Cultural Administrators Training Program successfully contributed to the professional growth of cultural administrators, empowering them to lead and innovate in their cultural sectors.
On September 5, 2024, CPI Day successfully brought together participants to celebrate achievements and foster connections in the context of the evolving era of cultural convergence and innovation. The event featured two key segments: the CPI Cultural Policy Forum and CPI Night, offering a platform for sharing outcomes, exploring policy visions, and facilitating networking among program participants.
The CPI Cultural Policy Forum centered on the theme of "Establishing Cultural Infrastructure in the Era of Cultural Convergence." The forum featured an insightful keynote presentation by Ms. Sey Min, CEO of praxis.ai, titled "From Data Realism to AI Surrealism." Additionally, participants and cultural administrators shared presentations that examined strategies and policies for establishing cultural infrastructure in their respective countries.
The evening culminated in CPI Night, where participants showcased their accomplishments, exchanged ideas, and strengthened their professional networks, further solidifying the collaborative spirit of the program.
By combining meaningful discussions on policy with opportunities for connection and celebration, 2024 CPI Day highlighted the importance of cross-cultural collaboration and innovation in cultural infrastructure development.
