2022 CPI Training Program

2022 CPI Program was a very meaningful event. It was a time to revitalize the program that was put on hold for the past three years due to the COVID-19. We were able to remark that we can enhance the cultural art fields within technological development and expand the opportunities for cultural exchange in a hybrid way.

In 2022, CPI was successfully carried out in each training program. Cultural Experts Training Program has completed by dividing it into three sections (performing arts, popular music, and publication).

The purpose of the training courses was to strengthen capabilities in project planning. Overall, 48 experts from 10 countries took the online class (2 weeks, 21 Sep ~ 5 Oct) and 38 selected participants could get an opportunity to visit Korea (Intensive course: 4 weeks, 31 Oct ~ 25 Nov / General course: 3 weeks, 31 Oct ~ 18 Nov) and continue their training.

At the same time, the Cultural Administrators Training Program concentrated on “Fostering the Human Resources in Cultural Fields and its Policy” sharing in-depth knowledge and perspectives. 13 participants from a total of five countries, the Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Philippines, and Vietnam, participated in the training programs. Starting on-line training from 31 Oct ~ 4 Nov (1 week), they discussed.

on cultural resource and contents and business plan preparation. The on-line courses were provided in theory, case study and special course by e-learning system or real-time seminar.

After the 1 week of on-line class, Cultural Administrators were invited to Korea from 14 ~ 18 Nov (1 week), and received a mentoring workshop program. According to their careers, we divided them into two groups: senior-level and working level. Also, they could participate in the cultural policy forum and visited cultural sites for the further experience.

This year, we held a CPI day (17 Nov, 2022) at DDP event hall. It is a day that all 2022 CPI participants, Cultural Experts and the Cultural Administrators, could get along. Also, they shared some perspectives on their own culture and achievements they gained throughout the training program.
