The Gukak(Korean traditional music) performance Gukak Silk Road was held at Mapo Art Center on Tuesday, July 17th. This concert was a collaboration work between Gukak group HanumWind and the 2016 CPI participants, Gansugar Davaakhuu(Mongolia), Manda (Mongolia) and Abdullo Ubaydullayev (Uzbekistan).

In 2016, they were invited by the National Theater of Korea through CPI program. Gansugar Davaakhuu, Manda and Abdullo Ubaydullayev play Limbe, horn and Rubab respectively, which are all their traditional instruments. Two of them are now taking graduate course at the Korea National University of Arts.

This concert featured folk songs including traditional music of Korea, Mongolian and Uzbekistan and attracted audiences with beautiful harmonies.
