QHow did you come to participate in the CPI?

I have heard a lot about the CPI program at Chungbuk People’s Art Federation from friends who have already participated in the program, and I have hoped to join the program someday. Thanks to my friend’s recommendation, I applied for the program and got invited.

QWhat activities have you been doing in Chungbuk People's Art Federation in Korea?

I am currently learning how to play traditional musical instruments in Korea including Jang-gu, Geomungo and Daegum (drum, lyre and flute) and participate in Creative Workshops with friends from CPI. I also found it fascinating to learn Korean language, Mask Dance, Pansori and other cultural aspects in Korea including folk painting, Korean manners as well as making Korean traditional musical instruments. At the same time, I have played Mongolian traditional music in front of Korean audiences and performed on major festivals with friends from CPI.

QWhat do you think the most important thing in participating CPI program?

I believe that the most important thing is to share and present Korean culture and traditional art to people from different countries. This helps me a lot in improving myself to be a better player. It is at the same time a great program for me to have a chance to compare traditional music from two countries of Korea and Mongolia.

QWhat would you like to experience more during the rest of stay in Korea?

I would like to learn more about the techniques to better play Korean traditional musical instruments as well as about Korean culture.
