I've performed and made collaboration with international musicians such as Tom kohen & Ella Daniel from Israel, and Mr. Oh Sok Shin(오석신, 익산국악관현악단 지휘자) Republic of Korea. Also Last year we had good a concert in Seoul and I hope the audience loved and enjoyed our program.

The name of the my main instrument is Doira, hand-held percussion. It has round shape and special shakers for giving beautiful sounds. The instrument makes from camel skin. To make good and effective sound, I need to heating up the skin carefully before I go up to the stage.
I really hope to show my Doira to Korean people Surely they will enjoy the special sound!

QHow did you come to participate in the CPI?

One of the closest brother(he is also musician) have been studying in Korea University of Arts, and he already took participate in CPI Program before.
I haven't waited I might be member of the project because I have been able to sent my documents only before about 3 hours and my documents were accepted by the program managers! I think God really wanted me to come to here and I'm happy that!

QYou are preparing for the <2018 Asia Sori Project> with artists from different countries at the Jeonju International Sori Festival. What do you think is the most important point when you collaborate with people from different countries?

I already made small co-work piece with musical director Jang Jae Hyo(장재효) at press conference. We performed together with Janggu and Doira. It was so excited! I'd like to develop it.
Primarily, getting ideas about tradition from different countries is very important. Then we can create special music with them. Most of all, not only the result but also make wonderful memories during the precess is very important for me.

QJeonju, the city you're staying in, is known for the Hanok(traditional Koran house) Heritage Village, craft shops and food stalls. Do you have any places in Jeonju to recommend to other participants?

When I arrived in Jeonju, many greens was impressive. Also, my studio is located in the lots of greens, too. I really enjoyed it.
I'm still stranger here and have had a little chance to look around Jeonju so far. It still difficult to recommend "must see/eat", but I'm sure that you will love Jeonju.

QPlease tell us your thoughts on participating in the CPI program and your plans during your stay in Korea.

Currently, I and my CPI colleagues are researching and producing the new performance. We hope that we will show the good performances here and we hope Korean audiences love to our collaboration work.
